1. To begin, place the eggplant seeds in warm water at 55–60°C and stir them gently but continuously for about 15 to 20 minutes.

2. As the water gradually cools down to around 30°C, let the seeds continue soaking for a longer stretch—roughly 12 to 24 hours—so they can absorb plenty of moisture.

3. Once the soaking is done, take the seeds out and wrap them carefully in a damp cloth. Then set them in a warm spot where the temperature stays between 25 and 30°C. Remember to rinse the seeds with warm water each day to keep them fresh and moist. With this gentle care, you can usually expect to see the seeds begin to sprout within 5 to 7 days.
